22 years ago over 20,000 Liverpool fans went to watch their beloved Reds play in the 1989 FA Cup semi-final. 96 never returned home.
Today, Liverpool Football Club and its supporters will pay their respects at a Memorial Service at Anfield and remember each of those who lost their lives in Sheffield.
On the club’s official TV channel – LFC TV – a free day of themed Hillsborough coverage will be available to watch, including the service live from Anfield from 2.45pm. The service will also be available for all supporters to watch on LFC TV Online.
